ABOUT OLIVIER CAUNE

Olivier Caune is a photographer with a passion for capturing the unique and intricate moments that emerge from the interaction between people and the spaces they inhabit. His journey spans continents, including over a decade spent in Asia, where he owned and operated an architectural and design firm in Shanghai. This experience informs his photography, giving him a nuanced understanding of design, space, and human connection.
Olivier primarily works with the Hasselblad 907X 50C, a medium format camera that enables him to capture exceptional detail and dynamic range in every image. This camera is central to his creative process, allowing him to explore the fine details of both grand architectural spaces and intimate, fleeting moments.
International recognition for Olivier’s work includes winning both the Hasselblad Competition and the Life Framer Competition, along with a special mention from CAPIC. These accolades drive him to continually push the boundaries of visual storytelling.
Whether working on large-scale projects or capturing everyday moments, Olivier’s goal remains the same: to create images that tell a story, provoke emotion, and reveal the beauty within both ordinary and extraordinary spaces.
