Olivier Caune is a photographer driven by a passion for capturing the subtle and intricate moments that emerge from the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit. His journey spans continents; fluent in French, English, and Mandarin, he spent over a decade in Shanghai, China, where he owned and operated an architectural and design firm. This experience deeply informs his photography, shaping a refined understanding of space, design, and human connection.

Olivier primarily works with the Hasselblad 907X 50C, a medium format camera that enables him to capture exceptional detail and dynamic range in every image. This camera is central to his creative process, allowing him to explore the fine details of both grand architectural spaces and intimate, fleeting moments.

Olivier's work has gained international recognition, highlighted by his selection as a Hasselblad Masters Finalist in the 2026 Street category. He has also been honored in the Life Framer Competition on two occasions and received accolades for emerging talent and best portfolio from CAPIC. These achievements inspire him to consistently push the boundaries of visual storytelling, capturing unique perspectives and emotions through his lens.
